Like all MSP programs, the Caterpillar program continuously evaluates the contingent labor supplier pool. Caterpillar’s challenge was to sustain the correct mix of suppliers and consistently maintain a best in class supply chain.

A solution founded in innovation

The Caterpillar program issued an annual RFI to review interested staffing firms in late 2016. Harvey Nash was among the suppliers invited to participate. In March of 2017, we were awarded entrance into the contingent labor program supporting IT and non-IT requisitions.

Dedicated client delivery team

Harvey Nash’s exceptional staffing delivery commences with assembling a Dedicated Client Delivery Team unique to each client. Once awarded into the program, we went to work building a well aligned team. The Client team consists of Subject Matter Experts on the specific technical skills & functional requirements that matter most to the Client. The program setup and service locations were also taken into consideration to finalize team selection. From that point, the Recruiting Lead and Client Delivery Manager joined forces to ensure optimal delivery.

Engineering solution

With the addition of Caterpillar, we expanded our capabilities to include a greater variety of engineering positions to support their unique needs and requirements more fully. This included the hiring of new employees and providing specialized training for existing personnel. Our recruitment team has quickly gained a keen understanding of engineering skillsets and we now have a division of SME’s in the engineering space.
