Carbon Reduction Plan

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been developed to meet the requirements of Procurement Policy Note PPN 006, “Taking Account of Carbon Reduction Plans in the procurement of major government contracts”.

Nash Squared's financial year runs from 1 February to 31 January. Our carbon reporting baseline was originally set at 2019/20 to avoid the impact of COVID-19 on baseline data. However, following the divestment of NashTech, which constituted a significant organisational change, we took the decision to rebaseline to 2024/25 to ensure that our reported emissions and reduction targets accurately reflect the current structure and operations of the Group.

We remain committed to environmental transparency and the ongoing reduction of our greenhouse gas emissions. The Group reports its energy use and carbon emissions annually in accordance with the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements. In addition, emissions data is collected and monitored across all regions for relevant emission categories and is disclosed in our annual Sustainability Report. The report provides further information on our carbon footprint, progress against reduction initiatives and wider sustainability commitments.
