From Long Covid to Kilimanjaro: David Dyer's Transformative Journey

From Long Covid to Kilimanjaro: David Dyer's Transformative Journey

Today we are joined by tech executive David Dyer.
David Dyer shares his story of perseverance and change. He sat down with David Savage to talk about his harrowing battle with long Covid, leaving him bedridden and unable to even walk up stairs. David provides a raw account of the physical and mental challenges he faced. However, his relentless determination sparked an incredible comeback journey. He developed a self-guided recovery program, achieving small milestones. This culminated in David summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, just 18 months after being virtually incapacitated. But David's Kilimanjaro trek was not quite what he envisaged. He vividly recounts the crises that threatened to derail the expedition before it began. Through storytelling, David imparts profound lessons from his long Covid battle and climb. He reveals how these experiences reshaped his perspective, allowing him to cut through noise and hone in on what truly drives impact.
