Today is Friday 4th March, Employee Appreciation Day. Across our business - from North America to Europe, from Asia to Australasia - people will be doing extraordinary things for their colleagues, customers, and communities. From big things, like the work our Polish business is doing to support Ukrainian refugees, to smaller things, like ‘reaching out’ and supporting a colleague or customer in need.
Today we will also be doing ‘ordinary’ things extraordinarily well. In our kick off webinar in February I was fascinated to hear how our Netherlands business was able to so expertly handle the payments and contracts of thousands of customers in often difficult circumstances. It’s a story of dedication and commitment that you see in so many places across the Group.
But whatever your story – big, small, ‘extraordinary’ or ‘ordinary’ – one thing is for certain: it is your contribution that makes the Group what it is today.
