Spring, a time to unwind
In the Northern hemisphere we are now in the Spring season. That means that the daylight hours are longer and the weather more variable. In the UK that can mean three seasons in one day with everything from sun to rain showers to snow! It’s hard to plan how many layers of clothes to wear on any one day and yet for many of us, myself included, it’s a favourite time of year.
I know just how diligently everyone is working and that amongst the general busyness of our lives it can be all too easy to not prioritise our health and well-being.
Many of us have done that, myself included. Not getting enough sleep, not choosing to stop and eat a healthy meal or snack simply grabbing something on the go, not taking the time to get some fresh air and exercise. Over time these take their toll on our health. I always know when I have pushed it too far, it’s when colds take hold for example.
For some countries in the world this coming weekend is a longer one but wherever you live in the world I hope you find some time for yourself and to give yourself some well-earned rest and care.
