You’ve got to be in it to win it
I can’t believe it’s the start of the third annual Nash Squared World Games next week on Monday 5th June. It doesn’t seem possible that only 12 months ago we crowned our winners - Team USA.
But here we are, and the question on everyone’s mind is: who will be crowned World Games Champions this year?
Meaningful movement is such an important thing. You don’t have to be an Olympian or world champion to get the most out of physical exercise. I know from personal experience that just putting aside 20 minutes to go for a run or swim or simply a walk in nature, can really improve your day.
You might start your activity reluctantly, or with your mind full of worries or concerns. But somehow the act of movement changes your perspective, and you emerge with an entirely different view.
The world hasn’t changed, but meaningful movement has changed you.
We’re not expecting to see any world records broken, but a little bit of healthy competition, as well as a chance to connect with colleagues across Nash Squared, makes the World Games such a great thing to be part of. And on Monday we are kicking the Games off with a special 24 hour competition where you can win some fantastic sustainable trainers.
Each year some members of the Executive Council join teams outside of their main geographical location. So on Monday, my early morning dog walk will proudly be as part of Team India. But I will also take great pride in all individuals and teams who will be taking part.
And on that note, if you haven’t yet registered to take part, you still can at www.nashsquared.com/worldgames.
I wish everyone in Nash Squared a fun, healthy, happy and connected World Games.
PS: Looking forward to seeing everyone at our Groupwide Strategic Update Webinar on Tuesday 6th June, which should be in your diaries.
